I haven't kept may people informed in the last 8days, have I?

Ha ha.

well, I got over my initial disappointment and guilt over the way my first year as a teacher went, and that has been replaced by my excitement for next year and all the things I plan to change and implement and discover with my students. Teacher work week went well: I got everything done on time and I was able to spend time with my co-workers for a change because my boss kept treating us out for lunch. I also had my year's end evaluation and it went great--I am getting a raise!

On Thursday, I officially moved out of Beth's house and am back at my parents' house in Sacramento. My baby cousin (19 years old) graduated high school, so I spent a lot of time with her and the rest of her family for a change. Katie, the older one, asked me to be in her wedding which is in September, so we have an appt on Tuesday to get that done. Dress #4. Haven't seen it yet, but sounds nice.

Today we all converged as a family in RWC to visit my grandpa for fathers day--it was lovely for a change. Good conversation, little tension, and my uncle was actually there. He's been boycotting family functions for the last 4 years, so I've barely seen him.

So now, I will be in Sac for 3 days, but then will be in SJ for church related stuff for 4 days. Then, I will be in Sac for 3 days, before I head to the Bay Area again so that my friend can drive me to SFO at 4am on Thursday to catch my 7am flight to EUROPE!!! Ah, and then I will be there for 6 weeks before I resume my crazy life as a nomadic teacher in the Bay Area. Ha ha--weeeee!

I have so much to do in the next 11 days, it's crazy. Too tired to figure it all out and when to do it. Maybe tomorrow.

Speaking of, it's Father's Day.
